Abstract

A perspective which emphasizes the reality that religious men and women can be perpetrators of many forms of violence against children including child torture and ritual abuse-torture. The clerical science of torturing has historical roots in the Inquisition. In more recent times children housed in institutions have spoken out, disclosing their ordeals of abuse and torture by some religious men and women. Serial pedophiles and lone pedophilic hunters use their positional power as clerics to commit crimes against the human rights of the child victims—this is the reality!
